What’s the best way to give my child Nutra Organics Captain Calm?

You can give Captain Calm as a stand-alone drink with milk. Just add two teaspoons to 100ml of milk for added benefits of tryptophan. Or you can make a delicious Sleepytime gummies recipe or Bubblegum Ice Cream.

Why does Captain Calm have floaty bits?

Captain Calm does not have stabilisers or instantizers to enhance the solubility of the herbs. The calming botanicals, including chamomile, lemon balm and passionflower, will naturally float to the top of your kid's drink or settle on the bottom, but you can rest assured it’s because they are the real deal. If you would like to reduce this, we suggest frothing the milk as this keeps them in suspension a bit longer.

Mix 4 grams (approx. 1 heaped teaspoon) into 100 mL of full cream milk for the added benefits of tryptophan. For a dairy-free option, add to plant-based milk and enjoy hot or cold. Alternatively, add to baking smoothies, yoghurt, porridge or ice cream.
