Don't walk, RUN! Prime Energy drinks are for SALE NOW! We have finally got our hands on Prime Energy.  As people desperately try to get their hands on the popular energy drink Prime, we have everything you need to know about this new Energy drink. Plus a few delicious recommendations that we think give Prime Energy a run for its money.

What is Prime Drink?

Prime is a sports supplement drink that was launched last year by two very popular YouTubers (they have 40 million subscribers between the two!). Last year, Logan Paul and KSI launched Prime Hydration in America. Prime was sold out within hours of going live across the country. In Australia, the same happened when it was first launched at the end of last year. And it pretty much keeps happening when you find Prime. There are 3 products for Prime - Prime Hydration, Prime Energy and Prime Hydration+ Sticks.

What’s the Difference Between Prime Energy and Prime Hydration?

So, there’s a lot of talk about Prime Energy and Prime Hydration. They are so popular that it’s very hard to get your hand on both of them. Even though they are from the same brand, they are two different drinks.

Prime Energy is finally available for sale in Australia in a different caffeine content from American Prime Energy. Prime Hydration is available for purchase and is a hydration drink. Prime Hydration contains NO caffeine, 20 calories, 2 grams of sugar and a range of electrolytes. Prime Energy is a caffeinated energy drink with added electrolytes. Basically, when you compare these two Prime drinks, it’s the same as comparing a bottle of Powerade (Prime Hydration) and Red Bull (Prime Energy).

When Can I Buy Prime Energy in Australia?

In Australia, Prime Energy is available for sale now as the Prime team has carefully changed the formulation to suit Australian regulations.  All energy drinks in Australia must meet requirements before they can be sold. The Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) code restricts how much caffeine can be added to drinks. The maximum amount of caffeine in a drink is 32mg per 100 ml. Each can (355ml) of Prime Energy contains 110ml of caffeine.

Why Was Prime Energy Not Available in Australia?

Prime Energy was not sold in Australia because the American formula contains a large amount of caffeine. And the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) code restricts how much caffeine can be added to drinks. In Australia, a drink’s maximum amount of caffeine is 32mg per 100 ml. The American version of Prime Energy contains above the allowed amounts of caffeine, so the Prime team has reformulated the caffeine amount to meet the Australian standards of caffeine in a beverage.

Who Owns Prime Drinks?

Popular YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI created Prime. If you don’t know who they are by now, you must be living under a rock. Logan Paul has a cool 23+ million subscribers, and KSI has 24 million subscribers on YouTube. In February, KSI and Logan Paul visited Australia briefly to promote their Prime drinks. And oh, did I say it was a frenzy in Sydney and everywhere they went? Those two guys decided to join forces and create Prime drinks.

Prime’s mission was to unite rivals as brothers and business partners to deliver a unique product that combines great taste and functionality. These two rivals are Logan Paul and KSI. In 2022, Prime launched Prime Hydration. Since then, both Youtuber sensations have worked tirelessly to expand their reach to new markets and develop new products they know you will enjoy.

According to Logan Paul and KSI,

“Creating a brand from scratch has been a humbling experience, especially when competing against some of the biggest names in the beverage industry. As underdogs, we relish the opportunity to demonstrate what can be achieved. Despite our challenges, we are proud of our success and the growth we have achieved.”

They firmly believe the sky's the limit as they continue fighting for the same team. Since Prime Hydration was created, they have expanded to 2 more products, Prime Energy and Prime Hydration+ Sticks.
